Mayonnaise Cake

 

    I know this sounds odd if you've never tried it, but mayonnaise is essentially just eggs, oil and salt.  Replacing these items in a cake with mayonnaise is a popular and quick method in cake baking, making your cake delicious and SO moist!

 I challenge you to try this one if the concept is new to you, as the ingredients are inexpensive and the cake is super easy to make. I hope you like it!

  

Mayonnaise Cake

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 ½ tsp. baking soda
½ cup cocoa
¾ cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 cup cold water
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all together; pour into a 13x9 pan. Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes.
