Blueberry Cake

 

Blueberry Cake 

½ cup butter
1 cup + 3 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
2 ½ cups flour
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
½ cup milk
1 ½ cups washed blueberries
1 tsp. cinnamon 

Cream together butter and sugar, beat well until light. Add eggs one at a time. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix into butter mixture alternately with milk. Beat until smooth. Fold in berries and pour into a greased pan and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 375º for 40 minutes, or 30 minutes for a larger pan. Serve warm.
